With the new SunLike technology, prebit offers an innovative full‑spectrum LED whose light closely matches sunlight and is optimally aligned with the human biorhythm. This natural light spectrum, featuring an extremely high CRI — without a blue peak — delivers the best light quality currently available.

By strongly reducing the widely discussed “blue peak” (the high blue‑light spectrum of conventional LEDs), the effects of artificial light on the eyes, concentration, and biorhythm are notably and positively influenced.

The natural light of the sun served as the model for the development. With the help of SunLike-LEDs, it is now possible for the first time to replicate almost the entire spectrum of natural sunlight.

The result is a particularly healthy light with a CRI > 95. Colors and textures of objects appear as they do in natural light. The SunLike-LED combines the benefits of natural light while minimizing the disadvantages of artificial light sources. The human eye can tolerate only a certain amount of blue light.

If this amount is too high, the excess blue light is scattered. This scattered light then appears diffuse, which causes the shape and color of objects to be rendered slightly distorted.

Excessive amounts of blue light can overstimulate the retinal cells in the eye.

Occasional eye discomfort and concentration difficulties may occur. The SunLike-LED reproduces a light spectrum almost identical to that of the sun.

The light spectrum is reproduced. Both the colour and the material characteristics of an object are rendered naturally. The negative effects of excessive blue light on the eye or on the human biorhythm are avoided.
