Waterproof replacement LED unit

Many yachts are equipped with high-quality stainless steel downlights for which the original manufacturer does not offer an LED solution. By replacing the internal housing, outdated incandescent lamp technology can be seamlessly upgraded to modern LED technology—cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable.

The stainless steel ring of the existing fixture remains unchanged, so no additional drilling is required and no further modifications are necessary. This preserves the original aesthetics and high-quality workmanship of the yacht while enabling the benefits of modern lighting technology.

The LED provides a high color rendering index (CRI) of 98 and is available in a range of color temperatures that ensure excellent light quality and natural color rendition. Whether warm white for a comfortable ambience or cool white for functional areas, the lighting can be tailored to the desired lighting conditions.

After installation, the luminaire is again waterproof to IP67 and therefore ensures reliable operation even under demanding maritime conditions. The efficient LED technology significantly reduces energy consumption, heat generation and maintenance requirements.
